Hello! I'm Joyce Holtz, a dedicated Fullstack Developer with a strong foundation in software engineering, officially starting my professional journey in 2023 after successfully completing my apprenticeship.
Currently, I am proud to be part of the team at NOLIS in Nienburg, where I contribute to and manage various challenging projects. My responsibilities span the entire development lifecycle, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
One notable project includes the development and management of an appointment scheduling software, optimizing processes and enhancing user experience for clients.
Beyond my professional work, I have a profound enthusiasm for emerging technologies, especially in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs). I continuously explore how these advancements can be leveraged to create more intelligent and efficient applications.
My international experience, including participation in the Erasmus+ program on Malta, has further broadened my perspective and honed my collaborative skills in diverse environments.

Appointment Scheduling Software
As a key project at NOLIS, I developed and maintained a comprehensive appointment scheduling system. This fullstack application streamlined booking processes for businesses, offering features like real-time availability, automated notifications and customizable service offerings. My role involved both frontend development (user interface, responsiveness) and backend logic (database management, API integration, security).
Custom Form Builder
Designed and developed a highly flexible Form-Builder application, empowering clients to effortlessly create custom forms for various individual purposes. A key feature of this tool is its advanced logic, allowing users to define intricate dependencies across fields, ensuring dynamic and intelligent form interactions based on user input.
AI/LLM Research & Prototypes
Driven by my strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models, I constantly engage in personal projects and research to explore their practical applications. This involves experimenting with various AI frameworks, building small-scale prototypes, and understanding the integration of AI capabilities into existing software. While not client-facing yet, this continuous learning enriches my approach to problem-solving.
Erasmus+ Program on Malta
My participation in the Erasmus+ program in Malta was a transformative experience, offering invaluable insights into international collaboration and cultural exchange within a professional context. This program enhanced my adaptability, communication skills and ability to work effectively in diverse teams, preparing me for global challenges in software development.
